Product Description
Polyethylene (sometimes shortened to Polythene or PE) is the most popular polymer in the world.
We manufacture HDPE & LDPE which stands for High and Low Density Polyethylene respectively.
Polyethylene is lighter than most plastics making it economic for a wide range of applications from pipeline, milk bottles and plastic bags. It has good chemical resistance and low friction surface (feeling waxy like a candle) but poor thermal properties, melting around 120C.
Polyethylenes are generally translucent white to white in colour.
Bespoke sizes and cut lengths available.
