1. Measure the height and width of your wall (potentially your whole room).
2. Pick the grid size you’d like to achieve (view our example)
3. Choose the width of the panelling (we think 100mm works nicely in most rooms)
4. Using the simple calculations work out the width of each horizontal batten.

Once you have this you can order all your components online, you’ll just need to choose what thickness of material you want to use, we recommend 6mm, 9mm or 12mm, in most instances the choice is purely aesthetic and will depend on where you want it, for example, living room wall panelling.
