Product Description
Our manual barrier, the Miti-Gate® is designed as an alternative, economical PAS 68: 2010 crash-rated barrier for locations that have no access to electrical power with infrequent vehicular throughput however, still requires complete protection from a vehicle borne threat.
The Miti-Gate® is ideal for airports, sports stadiums, high streets, and town centers that need pedestrian protection or at stadiums, retail car parks, hotels, commercial warehouses, factories as well as for the emergency service industries.
In the past year, times have changed and vehicle targets are different. With demonstrations, marches, sit-down protests, queues to enter retail shops and outdoor dining now moved to outside on pavements, there is a clear need to protect these types of public areas.
Available in two options, our 30mph and 40mph crash-rated Miti-Gate® both barriers have a shallow depth foundation of only 215mm which will require minimal civil work. This makes our manual gate the perfect solution for securing areas where there is a need to protect mass gatherings of people.
With clear width availability of up to 10 meters utilising a single leaf (40mph/64kph), or double leaf format (30mph/48kph) the manual opening Miti-Gate® is by far the most cost-effective, simple, crash-tested PAS 68 compliant solution currently available.
Our model CSG 10940 (40mph/64kph) holds a CPNI Vehicle Attack Delay Standard (VADS) rating.

This product is a versatile manual barrier that can be hinged, bi-parting, or for flexibility THE MAIN BARRIER SECTION can be completely removed, leaving the crash-rated posts (bollards) in a static position.
The Miti-Gate® can be finished in your choice of RAL.No or as we have done for many clients, the large plain areas on both faces of the barrier lend themselves to be branded corporately or, can be finished to blend with the installed environment.
This product is a versatile manual HVM barrier that can be placed in front of or behind existing gates or fencing as required.
