Product Description
Cornerstone Drymix Pointing Gun Mortar is a dry ready mixed lime mortar formulated explicitly for pointing with a skeleton mortar gun. Available in the colour buff.
Engineered with precision, using 100% pure natural hydraulic lime, natural sands, and conservation-appropriate additives to optimise the efficiency and precision of pointing masonry units. Its specific composition prevents separation under pressure, ensuring a consistent and straightforward application. Available as standard with Saint-Astier® NHL2. Other binders and mix ratios are available upon request.
Well-suited for pointing brickwork or stonework using a skeleton mortar gun, supporting uniform coverage of the joint and minimal mortar wastage.

Area of use
Suitable for internal or external use, where the binder strength is appropriate for the host background or surface.
Drymix Pointing Gun Mortar is suitable for pointing work applications utilising a skeleton pointing gun. Appropriate for various project types, including conservation, renovation, or sustainable construction.
Drymix Pointing Gun Mortar prefers masonry with a degree of suction, so masonry units such as engineering bricks may be more challenging to work with.
A 25kg bag will produce approximately 15 litres of mortar and fill roughly 1.5m² of joint. The width and depth of the joint will influence this estimation. On-site trials are advised for the best yield indication for your specific project.
As natural products, our kiln-dried sands may exhibit variations in colour, texture, and shape. While these variations are minimal, when colour consistency is crucial, we strongly advise each elevation is completed using material from the same batch.
Supplied in 25kg polythene-lined and colour and batch-code paper bags for easy identification on-site and palletised for ease of transport, storage, and handling. FIBC tonne bags are also available.
