Well-suited for stonework applications featuring a large joint and looking for a traditional and refined coarse creamy buff finish.
- Conservation appropriate additives
- No pigments to combat colour fading
- Features a refined buff colour after finishing
- Well suited to larger jointed stonework
- Vapour permeable to support moisture management
- Decreased likelihood of shrinkage cracking
- Enhanced workability for those behind the trowel
- Straightforward mixing and finishing
Suitable for internal or external use, where the binder strength is appropriate for the host background or surface.
Drymix Coarse is suitable for general building and pointing work applications where the joint and bed size exceeds 10mm. Explore Drymix Medium for laying blocks or bricks with smaller joints. Appropriate for various project types, including conservation, renovation, or sustainable construction.
Drymix Coarse prefers masonry with a degree of suction, so masonry units such as engineering bricks may be more challenging to work with.
A 25kg bag will produce approximately 15 litres of mortar and fill roughly 1.5m² of joint. The width and depth of the joint will influence this estimation. On-site trials are advised for the best yield indication for your specific project.
As natural products, our kiln-dried sands may exhibit variations in colour, texture, and shape. While these variations are minimal, when colour consistency is crucial, we strongly advise each elevation is completed using material from the same batch.
Supplied in 25kg polythene-lined and colour and batch-code paper bags for easy identification on-site and palletised for ease of transport, storage, and handling. FIBC tonne bags are also available.
