The VAC-EX AIR-VAC® track vacuum excavator is a compact towable vacuum excavator for uncovering underground utilities, allowing safe excavation around live services.
With a width of 1m, it is ideal for footpath or narrow access working and using the fully proportional remote-control can be operated from safer grounds with better vantage points, therefore improving safety and productivity. The AIR-VAC can perform at 6m+ depth.
The AIR-VAC PE lined skip holds 0.2m3 and once raised, the large, hinged door allows the debris to be tipped into a dumpy bag, machine bucket or low trailer.
At 1750kg the AIR-VAC is exceptionally easy to transport using the coupling and convenient tie down points on the Challenger 50 trailer. As the combined weight of AIR-VAC and trailer is only 2250kg, it is light enough to be towed behind a transit van.
