Whiteboard manufacturer launches new agile working product

NORTH Yorkshire based whiteboard manufacturer Logovisual Ltd has recently added a new multifunctional storage whiteboard unit to its premium ThinkingWall range.

The ThinkingWall Stor is a mobile whiteboard on castors with built in storage shelves. The unit is designed to be a flexible addition to an open plan workspace. It can act as a room divider, moveable whiteboard wall, and shelving for files or display.

Product lead Phil Mercer said, “Our products are made to order so we can easily develop new products to suit a client’s needs. The ThinkingWall Stor is a result of that process. Our client liked the our ThinkingWall Divider but wanted something with storage. We enjoy this process and our motto has always been that products we develop for a client today become the products we sell in future.”

The company has seen a shift in demand from wall mounted whiteboard panels to more freestanding and mobile solutions.

Managing director Dan Varney commented, “Agility is very much the workplace trend. Teams are increasingly organised around specific projects, so people and spaces are getting allocated and re-allocated on a regular basis. Teams also engage in far more collaborative thinking and planning as a means of staying in tune with rapidly changing requirements as projects evolve. Fixed workplace configurations don’t offer sufficient flexibility to adapt to requirements. Open plan is a great start, but within an open plan space people still need different zones for different types of work, places to meet, places to store their stuff and vertical surfaces to present and share thinking and progress – whiteboards used to be a non-essential item of office stationary, but they’re essential to agile teams.”

The ThinkingWall range including the Stor is available to order now.
