VAN Guard Accessories had a hugely successful three days at the Commercial Vehicle Show earlier this month. Running from 30th April – 2nd May 2019, van operators, drivers and converters from all around the UK and Europe flocked to the CV Show at the NEC, Birmingham to keep up to date with the launch of new vans, including the British-made Vauxhall Vivaro, and products and services from 400+ exhibitors.
A great spot in Hall 5, allowed Van Guard to maximise brand awareness and exposure of their range of commercial vehicle accessories, manufactured at their premises in Exeter, Devon. The CV Show also proved the launch pad to showcase two all-new product ranges – the Ladder Loader and range of Van Locks.
The Ladder Loader was extremely well received by van operators and existing trade converters. Displayed on a Ford Transit Custom, the Ladder Loader was demonstrated to visitors and fellow exhibitors to show the health & safety benefits of using this ladder stowage system. The ergonomic design and gas strut assistance allows for a safe and effective way of loading and unloading ladders from the van’s roof from ground level.
The star of the show was the company's very own range of Van Guard Van Locks – unveiled at the 2019 CV Show after working tirelessly on the van security project for the past 12 months. With van security the fastest growing sector in van accessories due to a huge increase in van and tool theft, Team VG worked alongside a leading name in the locks market, whilst utilising their vast manufacturing facilities in Devon, and previous experience in LCV security.
