1999 saw the release of TMS Europe's BC2001 block calibrator, the world's smallest hand-held temperature dry well calibrator. For over twenty years TMS Europe has been manufacturing the BC2001 - a very compact, highly portable block calibrator, offering the higher accuracy of a single fixed block, with multiple 100mm deep wells for various probe sizes.
Designed to check the accuracy of sensors and thermometers, its hand-held size means true portability, even to the tightest corner of your plant. Its compact size, low cost, and yet high accuracy make it ideal for use as part of your quality and traceability regime in the factory or the laboratory. They have a temperature range of 35 to 350°C and an accuracy of ±0.25 to 0.65°C. It’s simple and convenient to use, and even at 350°C its stainless steel case is cool enough to hold in your hand. Because the BC2001’s aluminium block is fan assisted it heats, cools and stabilises in minutes – much quicker than many larger block calibrators.
The construction is a single fixed aluminium block, with the default version having seven wells for a variety of common probe sizes. We also offer pre-calibrated with UKAS calibration as an optional extra! And finally of course - we make them in Britain!
