Enfield Tubes achieves Made in Britain accreditation

WORKINGTON-based Enfield Tubes is a leading international supplier of high frequency welded brass solder coated tube and cuprobraze for high-performance radiator applications.

The company also supplies copper, aluminium, brass and cupro-nickel products in all forms, for the manufacture of heating and cooling cores and other heat transfer products. It has now been accredited by the Made in Britain organisation.

Gary Henton, commercial manager at Enfield Tubes, told Made in Britain, “We want our customers, prospects and the OEM businesses who rely on our products to be confident that they have been manufactured for reliability and made responsibly with consideration to quality, the environment and the health and safety of our workforce.”

Mr Henton believes the Made in Britain mark carries that reassurance and he went on to say, “Being a long-established manufacturing business, since 1942, we are proud of our heritage and the provenance of our products. We believe that 'Made in Britain' still means something and speaks to the quality of our products.”

Enfield Tubes intends to use the official Made in Britain mark throughout its marketing communications and across all channels: on the website, in social, email, print and on stationery. Mr Henton is also looking at how he can incorporate the mark into packaging.
