On The Level showers production still open for NHS and care home projects

Although we have temporarily closed our offices and factory to protect the health and well being of our staff and customers and to assist in stopping the spread of COVID-19, writes On The Level (Showers) Ltd, we have consulted our factory staff and made a collective decision to open our factory to assist in the production of new facilities required as a result of the pandemic affecting the UK and wider communities.

We have already started to receive enquiries for live projects as a result of the plans to extend bed capacity within NHS Hospital Trusts and care homes across the UK to manufacture and supply our level access floors for vinyl floor applications.

  • en-suite shower floors for temporary or permanent hospital ward buildings
  • temporary or permanent staff welfare units
  • other types of buildings requiring shower/drainage facilities

Whilst we are offering priority to these projects, we will be working on backlog already created by our temporary shutdown meaning that we can lessen the impact of our temporary shutdown to continue to provide the highest levels of service.

Our office staff continue to work from home supporting technical enquiries to ensure we can turn projects around quickly. Mandatory production staff procedures have been put in place in the factory as the welfare of our staff and their families is still and will remain our number one priority. We will continue to monitor working conditions and have the right to stop should working conditions change at the risk of our employees. We will, of course, keep you updated.
