Thomas Dudley hosts Made in Britain workshop in the Midlands

Thomas Dudley has officially joined Made in Britain and to mark this occasion, the company held its first ever Made in Britain – Marketing for Manufacturers workshop in the Midlands, at its head office in Dudley.

Shabnam Gangar, Marketing Communications Officer at Thomas Dudley said: “The Made in Britain workshop was the first one to be held at our premises with over 20 delegates from external companies. The workshop was held in May and we felt was extremely successful not only introducing the company to other fellow Made in Britain members, but we also set aside a tour of our plastics warehouse showcasing our machining capabilities and how hard our dedicated staff work in order to produce and quality check all products before delivery.  We received positive feedback from delegates and from John Pearce, Chairman at Made in Britain and look forward to hosting future events and workshop once we’ve moved into our new office block later this year.”

Shabnam continued, “We are extremely proud to be a part of the Made in Britain campaign as it further supports our commitment to British, quality manufacturing. It’s vital for consumers and buyers to be aware of who they’re purchasing from and the quality that is being produced. Under the Thomas Dudley Group, we have various companies that contribute to this such as our award-winning foundry and plastics division and we will continue to drive further innovation and product development under this initiative. This is a great achievement and we’re excited to where this can take Thomas Dudley in the UK and overseas.”
