Machine Spares Ltd are specialists in manufacturing and supply of Startrite spares. Startrite were a British manufacturer of high quality Industrial Saws. Their machines were know for their rugged reliability, high build quality & British engineering. Startrite bandsaws are still sought after today, and a permanent fixture in many factories across the world, even 20 years after the last British made saw was produced.  

 

In 2002 we purchased the original drawings, tooling and rights of the manufacture of the Startrite metal cutting range, including vertical, horizontal and cold saws range. Parts are manufactured in house on the latest CNC machines so you can be assured that all spares supplied are as good as, if not better than when your machine was made.

 

We also rebuild Startrite bandsaws, returning them to like-new condition. Our meticulous restoration process involves stripping the machine of parts from the frame, sandblasting and recoating the frame, replacing the motor & electrical parts, and replacing or reconditioning all parts on the saw. The end result is a Startrite bandsaw that will stand the test of time, ready for hard production work. You can also rest easy with the knowledge that spare parts for your machine will be available for the foreseeable future, unlike most bandsaws brought from new in todays age, which often have no spares available after just a few years.
