Founded and established in the heart of Nottinghamshire, the story of Loopwheels is one of determination, passion and a streak of madness… which is all to be expected when you set out to reinvent the wheel!

With our revolutionary in-wheel spring design, Loopwheels offer integral suspension for people who use wheelchairs. Our shock absorbing wheels provide them with a smoother and much more comfortable experience. And are now proven to reduce the vibration that exacerbates long-term health risks.

The product was invented and developed by Sam Pearce in his home in Nottinghamshire, England, where the business still operates today. By profession, Sam is a mechanical engineer and industrial designer. His passion for high-quality manufacturing and design work drove the development of the product, which is now an impactful solution to a very common issue for people who use a wheelchair.

At Loopwheels, we believe in taking pride in making things by our own hands, and each Loopwheel is assembled by a trusted member of our team. The design of our innovative springs has been honed over many years, and we work closely in partnership with KG Archery who are based just 3 miles away from us in Nottinghamshire, to manufacture the leaf springs for our wheels; a core component to the technical excellence of Loopwheels.

Outside manufacturing excellence, we work hard to build relationships with customers and aim to provide the best solution for each individual case. We have built a strong team of colleagues who work together to provide the best product and service we can.

We may be a smaller team, but we sure have big ambitions! For us, it is important that we continue to share our story and products as we want as many people as possible to benefit from the improved mobility, reduced pain and longer-term benefits which Loopwheels can offer.
